It was definitely a spirit of 'Together We Can' at Meadowdale this week, as Year 6 took part in the annual tetrahedron challenge.
They start, with nothing more than a few sticks and some elastic bands. Working together, each person constructs their own triangle and then attaches them to another. This bigger triangle then is attached to other biggest triangles. In the end, three big tetrahedrons are attached to each other creating one massive tetrahedron.
It is then a challenge to see if this tetrahedron can be flipped over without it breaking at any point. All students must work together for this to work.
